The journey starts with a comfortable 3-hour drive in our modern air-conditioned bus from Sharm El Sheikh to Taba port. From there, you board a modern high-speed passenger ferry for a quick and scenic 45-minute sail across the Gulf of Aqaba to Jordan. Once you land, another comfortable tourist bus takes you directly to Petra.
Yes, a Jordan entry visa is required, but you don't need to worry about it! The visa and all Jordan port/departure taxes are fully included in our tour price. Our representative will meet you at the Aqaba port to stamp your passport and clear customs quickly.
Petra is a massive archaeological site. The walk from the main entrance, through the Siq canyon, and down to the Treasury and Royal Tombs is about 4 to 5 km each way (totaling around 8 to 10 km). We highly recommend wearing comfortable running or hiking shoes.
Yes, absolutely. We use modern, high-speed passenger catamarans (ferries) that are fully equipped with indoor air-conditioned seating, restrooms, and a cafeteria. The crossing across the Gulf of Aqaba takes only 45 minutes and is usually very calm.
We offer free cancellation up to 72 hours before the trip starts. Since we pre-arrange your ferry tickets and Jordan visas, please let us know as early as possible if your travel plans change.
